Damon self-ligating brackets utilize a "sliding-door" technology that allows the wire to slide back and forth within the bracket. The 21st century technology of self-ligating brackets, allow us to apply continuous gentle force, which means less discomfort and pain throughout your treatment. No elastics or steel ties are used with the system. In addition, this system often reduces both treatment time and the number of adjustments that are usually performed.
